A Montana native and the daughter of a U.S. forest ranger, Mary Beth spent her childhood painting, drawing and exploring the high mountain country. Her keen interest in the natural world is evident in the detailed brush strokes with which she depicts the beauty of wildflowers and the free-flowing motion of rivers and streams. Mary Beth fills her sketchbook with drawings and small watercolor studies. later, working from these studies, she completes her detailed paintings in the studio.
