Valentina LaPier is a Blackfeet artist from East Glacier, Montana, whose artistic experience brings a fine arts touch to a centuries-old native tradition. Ms. LaPier's work has been exhibited at the Museum of the Plains Indian in Browning, Montana, as well as galleries in Kalispell, Whitefish, San Francisco and Portland. After living and working as an established artist in Seattle, Valentina returned home to Blackfeet country in the late 1980s. She now works in her own gallery in East Glacier, and produces work in many media, from her vibrant acrylic and watercolor renderings to glassware and wire sculpture.
